We went to the lion for a 40th birthday (just 2 of us) was initially a little confused on what to do, you have to order your drinks and food from the bar like a fastfood place.
after ordering our starters came out very quick (3 minutes!) and then the main courses came out about 5 minutes after the starters were taken away, i would have preferred a bit more time between courses.
that said, couldn't fault any other aspect of the evening, well recommended.

Super new restaurant owned by the same people who have the Blue Strawberry up the road at Hatfield.
It seems to be aimed at a slightly lower budget than the Blue Strawberry but still has some fantastic food and a simple turn up and eat system. (You can't book in advance for normal nights).
All in all a great addition to the local restaurant choice and the car park says it all - it is always packed!
