What a great, friendly place! Everyone I have brought here has said it is just like being on holiday. The food & service are good. I have been here more often for the excellent music though.
The atmosphere is great & they have so many different singers. Some are unknown but you will also see some great singers from the 80's that you will recognise. Georgie B from Second Image is a star & has played the O2 one week & Marcos the next! There is never any trouble here, it is a great place for a night out for all ages. Mostly the customers are in their 30's to 50's but I have seen 25 & 83 year olds dancing.
Even if it looks crowded, you never wait long for a drink as the bar staff are so good.
I don't bother going to Southend anymore, even the door staff at Marcos are friendly. It is definitely the best place in Rayleigh, probably in Essex.
