The Duke of Wellington Public House


The Duke of Wellington stands in the High Street in Epping. This large impressive establishment offers a full compliment of Pub, Restaurant and Overnight Accommodation.

Only a short walk from the market square in the centre of town, this atmospheric pub has an inviting ambience in which to enjoy a glass of Real Ale or one of the several excellent lagers. The pub boasts one of the best and largest beer gardens in the area and is very popular during the summer, especially for customers with children. Barbecues are held in the garden during the summer (weather permitting).

The Duke is a very hospitable pub and Marlene, Mark and the rest of the team do their utmost to ensure your visit is an enjoyable experience.
There's a good social scene with SKY SPORTS on the big screen TV, plus 'Live Music' on most weekends.

The pub has en-suite accommodation, with 2 twin & 2 double rooms available at £45.00 per night.

The menu is packed with a range of mainly traditional dishes whilst in the evening you can dine in the 32 seater restaurant. Sundays they serve a traditional roast dinner for £5.95 for one course, £7.75 for two courses.

Under new management since Nov 07. Now serving traditional home cooked food using locally sourced ingredients. Lunch & Evening Menu Available. Sunday Carvery served 12:30 - 4pm. Dedicated childrens menu. Real Ales & Continental Beers. Outdoor catering & bar facilities also available.

The Hurdlemakers Arms, Woodham Mortimer


The Hurdlemakers Arms in Woodham Mortimer is an old-fashioned village pub serving real ales and good pub food.

The pub a bar, a restaurant area and a very large beer garden. The pub also welcomes families and holds regular Sunday BBQ's depending on the weather.  

The Queens Head Burnham on Crouch


The Queens Head is a traditional pub, along with the ales they have pool, darts, quiz nights, folk music and the odd band stopping by to entertain their customers. In the Summer months you can sit in the beer garden and top up  that tan. There is also a large public car park located just yards from the pub's front door so parking is never a problem. The Queens Head also provide a good lunch menu. All their food is genuinely homemade including their homebaked huffers and their ever popular pickled eggs!!

The Rivenall Hotel offers private and corporate parties, for lunch and dinner, as well as hosting a wide variety of special occasion’s events throughout the year, Including Valentines Day, Easter, Mothers day and Fathers day.
