I went to greenwoods restaurant this sunday and found the hotel very welcoming when we asked to look at some of the rooms prior to lunch. The restaurant itself was very clean well presented and clearly well looked after. The Staff were lovely especially as our party included an unusually grumpy toddler and they were endlessly helpful with him. The food was delicious and we were all stuffed by the end.
The broccoli and stilton soup was excellent as was the cheese and cranberry souffle. We had the roast turkey and beef Sunday Special and we all got a very generous portion of meat and veg. Although a jug of gravy left on the table would have been a nice touch.
An excellent lunch in lovely surroundings with kind and considerate staff. I read the previous review with some concern but really you have nothing to worry about.

This place is over priced, Staff are rude and call you things like Love and darling! The website is very good and gives the air of this being somewhere lovely. My advice look at all the other reviews on toher sites..not good, wish i had.
