What a treat to find a proper old country pub,we stayed in one of their six letting rooms and had a lovely stay, the pub had a great atmosphere and the food was fantastic with the added bonus of their chef being trained by 2 Michelin star chef Daniel Clifford. The owners made us feel welcome the moment we turned up till the time we left.
Make a visit and treat yourself!

We had some great food in the pub the other weekend. The place was busy with a great atmosphere.

The variety of drinks was great with some great guest ales. If you stay then i would reccomend a trip to Audley End Mansion a mile away.

Highly Reccomended.

From the momment we got there to the momment we left we felt welcome. The staff could not do enough to help and the beer is of an excellent standerd. The new owners have changed the pub from the last time we were there and have done so much to the large beer garden we found it most pleaseing. I hope to be staying there a good deal more and hope others will to. Well done to all at the staff at the Queens head. Thank you.

We went to this pub the food was poor and the welcme was very poor and the complete opposite of what it used to be when we last stayed here. There was no one in the pub and was veryu expensive and then found the pub was closed at 7.30 on a sunday.
