Don't be put off by the fact that the restaurant is upstairs - it's well worth the climb - you'll find a friendly atmosphere awaits, with good food and value for money.
The staff are always welcoming, courteous and efficient, whether you're looking for a quick lunch, or you want to make a night of it !!!
You can always find 'regulars' in the restaurant which is an indication of the Olive Tree's local popularity.
As a vegetarian, it's not always easy to find a choice of good food, but the Olive Tree never fails to delight me!
My carnivorous friends tell me the rest of the menu is equally as tasty and the Lamb Shank is (apparently) to die for !!
