Saturday night & I was the only table at half past seven should have told me to walk away but I was hungry, I wish I had stayed that way. The Staff where concentrating more on there mobile phones than the menu or the customers, but the biggest disappointment was the food. The Pork was served not as described on the menu & my duck was tasteless & surrounded by soggy fat! The Eton mess contained 2 tiny pieces of meringue & tinned strawberry's even though our waitress between texting told us they only use fresh strawberry's!!! Initially tried to book the Jamie Oliver pub The Cock at Beazly End but found out it had closed down!

This is how a country pub should be, very freiendly, great traditional english menu, great food and friendly service.
