The meat was dry and the veg appeared to have been sitting there for a while and by the time that we got it back to the table it was warm bordering on cold. Service was very slow from the outset condidering there were only another 2 couples in there. Tea arrived and was weak and too milky, the couple that had arrived after us received their breakfast before we did. We had waited 40+ minutes from our arrival and had finished our cups of ransid tea and eaten the toast way before the food was served and then realsied that the items originally ordered were on wrong plates! Food was also very average after all this. There was no real apology for this sub-standard service and no offer for money off the bill. The upstairs carvery sounds like a better option but we will not be going back for a breakfast and would certainly not recommend to anyone.
