Whilst dining in The Queens Head restaurant, customers can take advantage of some truly delightful views of the estuary with it's variety of craft that sail to and from the quay on a regular basis.

The Queens Head in Maldon has a unique and splendid position overlooking the picturesque quay which is one of the most popular locations in this part of Essex.
Whilst dining in the restaurant, customers can take advantage of some truly delightful views of the estuary with it's variety of craft that sail to and from the quay on a regular basis.

In the warmer months you can sit outside on the quayside and enjoy some excellent home cooked meals and snacks available lunchtimes and evenings, 7 days a week. The pub is especially famous for their 'Fish 'n' Chips' which are not to be missed.

There's always a good choice of all the popular brand name beers as well as a couple of 'Real Ales' for the enthusiasts, plus a good selection of wines to compliment your meal.
The Queens Head is the perfect venue to enjoy everything this lovely part of the town has to offer, and Charlie and the team look forward to welcoming you, the next time you visit the Quay at Maldon.

My girlfriend and I took advantage of the £35 valentine's day menu. What a bargain! Sweet, succulent scallops followed by beautiful pink duck breast (with a home-made lime sorbet to cleanse tha pallet in between!) were both perfect. The dessert was so chocolately and smooth I felt like I had to lie down afterwards. Beautiful setting, lovely staff and ridiculously good value for money. Only slight downside was the two teenage chav couples at the table next to us who didn't have a clue between them what a scallop was. "Is it chicken, innit?"
