The Duke of Wellington stands in the High Street in Epping. This large impressive establishment offers a full compliment of Pub, Restaurant and Overnight Accommodation.

Only a short walk from the market square in the centre of town, this atmospheric pub has an inviting ambience in which to enjoy a glass of Real Ale or one of the several excellent lagers. The pub boasts one of the best and largest beer gardens in the area and is very popular during the summer, especially for customers with children. Barbecues are held in the garden during the summer (weather permitting).

The Duke is a very hospitable pub and Marlene, Mark and the rest of the team do their utmost to ensure your visit is an enjoyable experience.
There's a good social scene with SKY SPORTS on the big screen TV, plus 'Live Music' on most weekends.

The pub has en-suite accommodation, with 2 twin & 2 double rooms available at £45.00 per night.

The menu is packed with a range of mainly traditional dishes whilst in the evening you can dine in the 32 seater restaurant. Sundays they serve a traditional roast dinner for £5.95 for one course, £7.75 for two courses.

A beautifully situated pub with attractive terrace and gardens. Very pleasant staff and reasonably priced drinks. A pleasant place to spend an hour or two.

When we went, the food menu was quite basic (mainly burgers and snacks) but very good quality and nicely presented. The staff said that they will be extending to a full meal menu soon and we look forward to trying it.
