We visited this restaurant with friends who are regular visitors and they wanted to share this little gem with us - and we were not let down.
A lovely ambience which must in the summer be enhanced by the fabulous lawns makes it very welcoming. The choice in the menus gave me a chance to enjoy the Tempura King Prawns and my wife the scallops. My wife staying with the fish thoroughly enjoyed the Mixed Fish Grill whilst the Steak, Oyster and Guinness Pie filled me totally. The desert menu was was very enticing and all this was washed down with very reasonably priced but good wines.
The staff were so friendly and I can only say that if you live nearby or are in the area then go - but book to be on the safe side as it was pretty well full when we were there!

10 of us had a lovely lunch here following a recommendation from a friend. The restaurant was bright and spacious and the tables were set elegantly. The waiting staff were excellent. The choice of food was very good and there was also a children's menu. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
