Visited on Saturday night and really enjoyed our meal. Great atmosphere and food very tasty, service was also very attentive and professionnal. Would reccomment to others.

Having just enjoyed a nice meal at Square1, this little place in the centre of Dunmow is worth a visit - as long as you don't mind the traffic noise. Sadly this is the only thing that may put you off, especially if you are at a table near the fron of the building. The food really is good though, with lots of attention made to the presentation of the food. The Swordfish is excellent, and the mussels to start with were very good. There could be one or two more choices for vegetarians, but sadly this restaurant is like many others - just a couple of choices for non meat eaters. Considering there was just 1 waitress on duty, to cover all of the diners & also serve drinks - it was excellent without being overbearing. Prices are a bit high though, which may also reduce the number of people making this a regular eatery - but for a treat it is well worth a visit.
