food loverly. We were originally offered a table in the bar this was quite a squeeze and we asked if we could move to the Restaurent area that was empty at the time after this the service suffered and it was as if the staff couldnt be bottherd apart from that unfortunaterly because of the staff attitude i cant really recommend the pub. Shame though

What a treat it was to have dinner here on a Monday night in December for my wife's birthday. The staff were very attentive, and the beer and food were both excellent. The cosy atmosphere is wonderful with a huge open fire crackling in the background. We were so surprised to receive complimentary bread and oil, as well as a small pot of complimentary soup, before we'd even started. I've never been to a country pub that does that for you. It shows that they really care about your experience. We'll definitely be returning!

Excellent!

We tried this gastropub the week it opened and were not disapponted. We have since eaten there with the family (6 of us) and the food and service has been of very high consistant quality. The food is excellent and the staff seem genuinely interested in their customers!. I would highly recommend it. PS they also have a great range of beers, in original barrels with plenty of guest beers.
