Dreadful customer service
Had a recent meal there with friends, roast dinner was totally undercooked and overpriced and couldn't cut the beef, I made a complaint re the roast beef dinner, chef came out and said he totally disagreed with my comments! Oh really!! so whilst I'm explaining my view I was told not to pay but to leave??? I was trying to be constructive in my criticism and I wasn't being rude, chef on the other hand was and frankly embarrassed himself, been going to Peldon Rose for some 20 years, the place is run by children with small minds and big ego's, disgraceful service and totally overpriced!! Won't be going in there again, roll on new management and a new chef who can actually cook!!
A great experience - well done
A very pleasant experience. THe whole atmosphere, welcome, food and service was top drawer. We just loved it - Adam & the staff did a great job, nothing was too much trouble and the food was of a standard you would expect from a top class restaurant.
Whatever they have done to The Peldon Rose - just keep on going - it was a pleasure to spend our money there.
Rather special we thought
A very special place - well presented - very good food & above all friendly local service.
My partner & I will certainly be back - totaly worth a visit & keenly priced as well
Most enjoyabl experience all round
We just cannot understand the below comment which is most unfair. We found this Country Innby chance for my mother's birthday - the staff could not have been more helpful, the food was first class, as good as any Inn we have been into, and the ambiance is very pleasing. We have been back twice this month already.
By the way the fish is so tasty its no true.
