I arrived at 1-45pm for a lunchtime snack to be told they stop serving at 2pm. When I pointed out it was only 1-45 I got a shoulder shrug and was told that lunches were finished. I drove a couple of miles down the road to the next pub and had a really good ham sandwich. Job done! Won't bother the folks at the Peldon Rose again.

Excellent food and service. No problems with arriving with our own birthday cake, which was very nicely presented by the staff, with candles lit. Definitely recommended.

My first time at Peldon Rose. Pleasently suprised by the great service and wonderful team. The Sunday roast was delicious as was the lemon sorbet with chocolate sticks. Really impressed that we weren't rushed too. Definately worth a visit for either a drink, snack or meal.

We decided to visit the Peldon Rose as an early Valentines treat, the food was good but we asked our waiter for a dessert menu, 20mins later still we had not recieved on,we tried to ask another waiter for on and was completly ignored, finally I went to the dining supervisor and said if you cant be bothered to serve us with dessert could we have our bill please, thinking that this may spart the appearance of a dessert menu, no they brought our bill instead, it appeared that they just dont have enough waiters serving when it gets busy or they are not trained properly, which is a pity as with a bit of caring management it could be good, but if its service you want best go to Weatherspoons or the local Indian or Chinease as the waiting staff here could learn alot from them.
