good experience
enjoyed a few drinks and some lunch in the summer. very friendly staff, superb chips. garden has been taken over by car parking and extra rooms, but some tables outside in a sheltered area.
relatives have visited 3 times for 2 lunches and 1 evening meal. good value for money, good portions, friendly landlord, good pub grub, average wait for food. slightly tired decor but would recommend for a reasonable lunch.
mrs
went there with agrpup did all they could for us to put to gether and food was value for the money we spent and plenty of it
Very disappointed
"Food service very very slow even with prior notification of menu choice.
Manager/Landlord claims to concentrate on good food, is missing the target by miles.
Manager/Landlord not prepared to discuss any type of complaint or advice and refuses to address legitimate grievances.
I would not use this establishment again if it was the last pub in England."
Old Courthouse
Popped in for Sunday lunch, pub was empty, meal took forever. Turned up cold and meat was so tough you could of used it as a bungee rope. 2 drinks and meal cost a small fortune. As an advisory note, beware!
