I had a bento box. The food was awful, swimming in burnt oil. The miso soup smelled so badly that I didn't even taste it. I asked my friends to smell it for fun. Few hours later I got a good stomach ache and threw up. The worst "Japanese" food I've ever tasted. And expensive!

Nice place and a good menu that has a variety of different dishes. It's the closest thing Colchester has to a Wagamammas. Staff are always friendly, you can see the chefs cooking so you know the kitchen is clean. I've had a few meals at Fai's and it's always been to the same high standard. Well worth a visit.
