The new 'Prestons' restaurant @ the Kingscliff Hotel is refurbished to very high standard along with other areas within the hotel. The menus have exquisite choices that are cooked to perfection and are all reasonably priced. The wonderful service offered here truly makes you feel special without being intrusive and the new decor and lighting gives a lovely ambiance. I have enjoyed a number of meals here now, in both small and large parties and it is always wonderful.I highly recommend the Seabass dish and the homemade Sticky banana pudding!!! The wine list also offers a nice range. I highly recommend this Restaurant as one of the best in the area. A must try!

When I head back to Clacton for visiting family I always find it a pleasure to grab some lunch here. Not gastro pub but good, honest, reasonably priced food.
