Was extremely disappointed on Sunday evening at 6.15pm when we had walked down for a carvery, only to find that the carvery section was closed.
As there is no notice to say that the carvery closes at a specific time, i asked why it was closed and what time it closed, only to be told that it depends on whether there is any food left or not.
In my mind this is very poor management and if you don't wish to do an evening carvery, then have a definate closure time.
Ended up getting car and going to Toby Carvery, where we had over a half hour wait due to it being so busy. Maybe there are lessons to be learnt there!.
I cannot rate this place high enough
We recently celebrated 2 special birthdays here. There were about 25 of us altogether.I can honestly say i have never received such good service at a restaurant. The staff couldn't do enough for us and gave us such a big welcome. And to top it all the food was lovely and very reasonable.I have already booked an xmas group meal here and will be definitely dining here in the future frequently.Thank you to Sue and Steve for making it such a special evening.
Poor quality food slow service the manager stunk of BO almost threw up my food in their below average toilets.
Really Nice, will return.
Having lived in Baddow for over 10 years now, I got used to calling this place seabrights! Wow! how it's improved under the new management!
I had the steak, cooked to perfection, mind you, i can could a good steak so it's the least you expect, i guess. where i was most impressed was the service, friendly and (not overly) attentive.
will be returning and hope to make this a 'local' once again.
