We visited this Indian restaurant with lot of expectations as we have read about this place from a couple of friends. Truly an authentic Indian restaurant in Essex where you can avail some of the rare Indian dishes cooked specially to greet your taste buds. We tried Tandoori Chicken and Korma dishes. The taste is awesome. The mouthwatering flavour of each and every food is their trademark. We will surely visit this restaurant this season.

We have eaten at the Indian Night 3 times and the food has always been ok, not fantastic, but they do some different dishes which is refreshing for a change. The staff are always very attentative. But the food is VERY expensive for ok food and the drinks are also VERY expensive.

Our main criticism is the fact that we have just ordered a takeaway, which we picked up, and IT WAS THE SAME PRICE AS EATING IN THE RESTAURANT!!!!! WE have just paid expensive money for OK food to eat at home. All other restaurants in our area take a certain percentage off of the menu for takeaway.

And to top it all, they got the order wrong.

Nice but expensive!

You will enjoy the food here however you will not enjoy the Bill. Its on par with any resturant in Chelmsford, In fact its probably one of the best in regards to the food itself! Servcice is very slow but the staff are friendy and polite. Its worth a try and if you dont mind paying over the odds you will enjoy it.

Yes there was teething problems with the opening night however when the food eventually arrived it was excellent full of flavour my friend made a comment that his starter was the best he had tasted.

I myself had the kebab to start and to my surprise it was well worth the wait.

We had plenty of red wine whilst being entertained by the singer although in the end was hoping that Roy Orbison didn't return but looking round the restaurant everyone was enjoying themselves.

I will give this place the benefit of the doubt and certainly return on another night when things have settled down.
