Loved it!
My partner and I went for a meal here on Monday night, as we live nearby and wanted to see what it was like. We were not dissappointed. It was really lovely, on arrival our waitress, Katie, was great really took care of us. We ordered a beef and ale pie with mash and Spaghetti Carbonara. I had the carbonara, it was devine, fresh and tasty really pleasantly surprised. My partner loved his pie and finished the lot.
Recommend this for a causal meal.
We will be back!
Horrendous
I books for a Sunday lunch time for my daughter in laws birthday for 20 people, we were told at the time there would be a wait for a large number, as it happens it wasn't to bad the waitresses were the best part. Starters, starting as being funny a couple ordered soup of the day chicken and vegetable which magically turned into tomato. Several of us had garlic mushrooms on brochettes which was mushrooms on half a slice of toast the garlic had obviously run away with the chicken. My son ordered calamari thick dark batter so in edible he sent it back. The famous Sunday roast! The meat so tough we all took it home for the dogs, the roast potatoes completely white not a hint of colour. My grandson had hunters chicken 3 skinny pieces of chicken hidden under bacon and a great mound of cheese. The meat pie apparently was passable, we weren't brave enough for a dessert course. The ambience They must be in the middle of renovation (I hope) it was like eating in an old church hall display cabinets to the side covered in dust and nails. The word refugee camp comes to mind, you could always look through the open door to see the old ripped up carpets. I have described honestly,so I will not mention the toilets. But we had a good take away when we arrived home.Unfortunately I could not score less than one stare
