I really recommend this restaurant!
I have eating there lots of times and enjoy it every time. Great friendly staff who really know there stuff when it comes to high quality food.
There is always a great selection of specials and lots of fresh fish. I recommend the mussels.

This restaurant is probably one of the best restaurants in the area (Braintree essex). The menu is very good with good examples of Italian food (not just Pizza and pasta - but they obviously have these as well). The Food is excellent especially the fresh seafood - which is a change as many of the local Italians (such as Prezzos, Tuttis etc) are chain establishments where most of the food is simplistic and kept in the freezer. It was good to find a restaurant that knows quality ingredients and how to cook them well.
La Piazza is located on Rayne Road (so is fairly central in Braintree Town) - Ample parking is available at the local supermarket. There is a small bar at the entrance - which goes up stairs to 3 rooms - It is a beautiful building with old beams and stonework. The food was exceptional and the wine list contained most of the popular Italian Classics with a few special vintages. Overall you will not find it hard to get something to compliment your food selection.
I would like to say keep up the good work - this is my second visit and I am more than happy to recommend this restaurant to my friends - the best restaurant in the area - definitely

is the person who wrote the amaizing review related to the owners must be the food was ok but nothing you could not buy in tesco and heat in microwave would i return no its cheaper in tesco

moved to braintree about a year ago - one of the reasons was because of this restaurant. The food is amazing, with friendly efficient service. Very popular in the evenings. It is a family run restaurant, the owner/ chef cooks everything fresh to order, evening going up to London to buy fresh fish from Billinsgate. I can not recommend this restaurant enough, we eat here at least once a month and I have never been disappointed.
Do not eat here!
