This beautiful 14th century country inn offers a charming timber framed building with a wealth of character & charm. Set in rural countryside along side the B1053 and within easy reach of Gt Dunmow, Braintree and Stansted Airport It offers traditional English pub fare and the open log fire in winter gives the place a real homely and welcoming feel. Under new management since April 2006 there is a full A la Carte menu on offer both lunchtimes and during the evening, with the addition of sandwiches, jacket potatoes and basket meals etc available lunchtimes. The Angel serves traditional pub fayre and is located in Bocking near Braintree.

The Green Dragon is a traditional 18th century inn and restaurant located just outside Braintree.

The Green Dragon serves pub food alongside more adventurous dishes like seared tuna steak with salsa, baked queen scallops with pancetta, and roast monkfish with parma ham.

Located in the charming market town of Coggeshall, Essex, this is a restaurant that has attracted plaudits from food critics and a hugely loyal clientele.
Baumann's Brasserie has an interesting history. It is located in a 16th century half-timbered building which was originally converted into a restaurant in 1986 by world-renowned Peter Langan, of Langan's Brasserie, together with his young French-trained head chef Mark Baumann.

Over the years, both the brasserie and Mark Baumann have earned numerous awards and commendations. The brasserie is featured in all the major food guides, Mark has been elected a Master Chef of Great Britain and was recently named in the International Who's Who of Chefs.
