We booked up Rococo lastweek and was informed that the main seating area downstairs was fully booked so was offered upstairs seating in their private dining area which we accepted as was told same menu and service.

We had planned to have the 3 courses for £16 per head which seemed great value and after the starter we wasnt going to be wrong as the food was amazing.

The problem we had was the service and length of time that we were left in between course. They were really slow in clearing are plates, asking if we wanted more drinks and how the food was! After the main we were left seated for 30minutes wth not a single member of staff in sight! there was another table of guests in this room who also were suprised by the lack of service. We cannot comment on the downstairs service but if our nights service was effected by being upstairs or them being under staffed then they should not seat people upstairs!

In the end we decided to leave so made our way downstairs to the front reception (which so easily could have kept walking without anyone battering an eye lid!!) we awaited the lady at the front to get off her mobile before asking for the bill and saying about the lack of service to her response ..."OK" she wasnt bothered in the slightest about customer service which we thought was a massive let down for a restuarant that seemed to have so much more potential!

Its a shame because for food we would go back but the staff put our backs up so would find it very hard to recommend or go back!

The foods ok here but there are no vegtables with the meal only a few tiny tomatoes the wine I paid £19.00 for I can buy for £5.95 so a greedy profit there, the toilets are a disgrace a black towel to dry your hands with, who on earth would use that?

This was my third visit to Rococo's and it was as consistently good as my previous visits. I've tried a variety of dishes and all have been consistenly good. My congratulations to the chef!
