This pub is an excellent and affordable place in the heart of Thurrock and well deserved of the awards it has collected along the way!
The food is excellent and very affordable, the service is great and the atmosphere is very pleasant.
Try it...you will not be disappointed!
Having been there 5 ou 6 times now, i have seen consistency and dedication from all the staff and the food served.
I will be back and will be reccomending it!

wonderfull food. Great friendly and helpfull staff.
All my family go to the Whitmore, knowing they will have wonderfull service and wonderfull food. Good portions and freshly cooked. I have recommended the Whitmore to many of my friends, and they all have come away very satisfied.

What a fantastic pub and restaurant, the quaility of food and service is impeccable,the wine list consists of a nice selection, while the beers are well cared for. This restaurant is a much hidden jewel nestling in a lovely award winning village of essex.
The restaurant is a credit to both management and staff and is well worth a visit for which you will not be dissapointed!
