Recently refurbished The Five Bells in Colne Engaine's interior retains lovely features such as the original exposed timbers and is tastefully decorated and furnished; outside, a lovely terrace commands stunning views over the Colne Valley.

Owners Darran & Caroline Lingley are happy to uphold the inn's long and fine tradition of hospitality, quality and service. Affable hosts, they and their friendly staff make all their guests feel most welcome.

The menu is a happy mix of modern food and traditional values and makes use of only the freshest ingredients and local produce. All food is home-cooked and freshly prepared, including the delicious breads. All the meat is cured and fish smoked on the premises.

A nice mix of pub and restaurant with excellent food cooked to perfection. Good selection of after dinner coffee's, we were made most welcome, no fuss just good honest service. Worth the drive to find it.
