Essex Restaurant Guide - Dining Out In Essex - The Old Vienna Restaurant Southend Essex

The Old Vienna is unique bringing a touch of old Itay to Essex very much in their own style!!.

Bringing a touch of Italy to Essex The Old Vienna pride themselves on the quality and presentation of their fresh food. They also feature live entertainment most Thursday nights as well as at the weekends including their 'Oom Paah Pah' bands but for those who like it a little quieter the a la carte restaurant may be more inkeeping.

The Old Vienna Restaurant Southend Essex

I'm sorry to all you Old V fans out there but I have heard good reviews about this place so I took my wife and kids for a roast sunday lunch.
Tired 70s decor that's dated badly combined with a stiff unpleasent atmosphere. The starters were as daring as prawn cocktail which was standard stuff. The main was well below standard. Overcooked veg bland at it's blandest. Watery beef and gravy. Tasteless food. We cook far better at home. Dare I say Essex rubbish for the old die hards
