Paris Bistro

Went to paris there wernt too many people in the restaurant which was suprised at after the meal as it was really nice food the waitor was friendly. Took a little while for the starter but was worth it i recommend the mushrooms with brie is so lovely! my main course was nice too and i finsihed with cheesecake which finished my meal nicely. Not a typcially french restaurant and wanted to come out and have more to eat they were good size portions and it wasnt too expensive theree was only one problem finding the place it is in a side road but the nicest food i had in a long time would defently go back there again

Paris Bistro

me and my girlfriend were looking for somewere to eat in westcliff, when we came across this unconspicious restaurant called "Paris". when we entered the restaurant the staff were very polite and were only to pleased to pamper us for the evening. after looking at the wine list we decided to go for a french red called "Crozes-Hermitage"..which was rich in colour and full of flavour..very highly recomended to anyone who's a red wine drinker. when waiter came to take our order..we were then accomplimented with fresh warm bread and a plate of nibbelies. There was a choice of six starter's to choose from,(two meat dishes, three fish and vegeterian)after a difficult desission i went for the prawn pil-pil which was very unusual dish;tiger prawns cooked in a chilli and garlic oil severed with fresh bread and my girlfriend had the cod, which again such an unusual dish to have as a starter (both dishes were very good, full of flavour and very well prsented). after finishing our starters the waiter then ask was everything to our satisfaction..well what could we say, there was hardly anything left on both plates. we then waited appox. 15 mins for our main courses to arrive, which gave us plently of time to relax.. i had the monkfish with a prawn rarebit served with a creamy fish and my girlfriend went for the rib-eye steak served with a cafe de paris butter..once again both dishes were outstanding and cooked to perfection..then along came the side orders;dauphinoise potatoes and a selection of blanched mixed vegetables. after finshing, once again the waiter ask was everything ok..once again we could only replay the ovious giving s big compliment the chef's who cooked these wonderful dishes. after waiting another 15/20 mins the waiter asked if we like a dessert, unfortunatly our stomaches couldn't take it..so instead we both went for coffee..after finishin i then asked for the bill which came to approx. £70 (which was very resonable for what we had). we both would defonatly return to the paris and we highly reconmend it to anyone. many thanx ...

Paris Bistro

I have now been to Paris Bistro on three occassions since it came under new ownership.
I have found there to be a good choice of dishes, very well presented, cooked beautifully, and good value for money and with a good selection of wines reasonably priced.
The ambience is excellent and the service very friendly and I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant
