At last!!,  Thursday, 24 June 2010 At last a restaurant in Shenfield that has quality ingredients, quality execution and a good feel to it. Shenfield has been crying out for a good restaurant for a long time, and I hope this venture succeeds such that Grahams remains here for a long time to come.

We've long been fans of Grahams on the Green, and our lunch on Wednesday was exceptionally good. Some of the best scallops I've ever tasted and an excellent pork belly. I'll be going again there tomorrow to offer this place support as a new restaurant.

Thank you Graham - finally someone has recognised the lack of restaurants in this area, and people should embrace Grahams at the Woodpecker as we will to ensure it gets the business that the quality food warrants.

Service and ambience could be improved, but with such a good base of quality food and exceptional execution, I'm sure that this will be addressed as the restaurant finds its feet.
