Barda located just a minutes walk from the Chelmsford train station, serves modern European cuisine. With it's stylish contemporary setting this restaurant has proved a hit with the town's population.

Barda Restaurant (the only restaurant in Chelmsford to appear in the Michelin guide 2009 and the Good Food Guide 2009) is conveniently located a minutes walk from Chelmsford Train Station. Dishes range from fillets of Red Mullet to Thai Poached Haddock and the Bar serves a range of quality wines, champagnes and cocktails.

With a Fixed price menu along with the A La Carte menu, Barda make every effort to make sure both your pallet and your wallet are catered for. Barda have a meeting room if you require a private setting as well as a decked patio area so during the warmer months you can sit outside and enjoy the glories of the British Summer.

A delightful evening was had by all. Food was well prepared and cooked to perfection and tasted delicious! The staff friendly and informed. This is one place not to miss. Recommended

This was a birthday treat for my husband. What an absolute delight !!!! This restaurant is nothing short of first class with a wonderful menu. The food was perfect in every way. Everything tasted fresh, and wonderfully presented, and the Chefs are artists. The staff are very friendly too. We think this restaurant is ritzy and somewhere you really must visit and once you do you will definitely want to go again. Highly recommended.

Excellent food, high quality, well prepared and presented. A good variety despite a relatively small menu.

The food was served by friendly, knowledgable staff. We were not rushed or pressured but staff were attentive and interested.

Would recommend.

An excellent dining experience. We were made to feel that we were special. Not rushed. Food was as good as we have tasted anywhere. Well done to the staff.
