The South Bar & Restaurant has been completely refurbished giving a stylish, modern yet relaxing ambiance. With an attention to detail and personal service you will find you needs catered for whether you are out for an intimate meal for two or dining with friends.

The A La Carte menu offers a combination of traditional and modern dishes, freshly prepared by the chefs using the finest local and national produce.

Breakfast - Monday - Friday 7.00am - 9.30am/Saturday - Sunday 8.00am - 10.00am
Lunch - Monday - Saturday 12.00pm - 2.00pm
Dinner - Monday - Saturday - 6.30 - 9.30pm
Sundays closed for food but available for private functions

Very delicious food and good prices.
I was very impressed with the food at the South Restaurant & Bar. I had the 3 Course set menu for £15.00 - Tomato and Basil Gallette, Confit of Duck Leg, Garlic Mash & Cheesecake to finish.My partner had the fillet of beef (he said was the best he ever had). Absolutely delicious food and you could tell from the first bite that was freshly made. I would go there again and I am highly recommanding the restaurant for people to go.

I took my girlfriend to the South Bar and Restaurant last night and was impressed with the food served. I chose the carrot and coriander soup whilst she plumped for the prosciutto ham for her starter. Following from this I chose the pan roasted salmon whilst she had the fillet of beef. Both starter and main were delicious and the service was attentive (although it was very quiet whilst we were there). I'd definitely recommend the South Lodge for a good meal at a reasonable price.

This was the first time we ate at South Bar & Restaurant and will definately be returning, the food was great and the waiter very attentive. Very good value for money. Absolutely recomended - excellent food.
