Great restaurant, friendly staff, Friday, 04 December 2009 Written by Caroline The staff are friendly and are happy to help and answer questions regarding the menu/drinks etc. We normally go during a weekday afternoon when it is quiet, which we like as it's nice and peaceful and we can have a conversation without having to shout at each other, but i'm sure it is busier during fri and sat evenings. Food and drinks menu is varied. From beer battered cod to pasta, pies and burgers there is a good menu on offer. Ambience has always been good, no rock music blaring out, normally soft room music like Frank Sinatra which fits the atmosphere of the restaurant well. Lots of parking spaces. We have never had any complaints when coming to this restaurant. Friendly staff, great food, good atmosphere. We enjoy it. ! Highly recommended.
